Lewis Glasser practices all areas of State and Federal environmental law. We represent clients in matters with the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the West Virginia Division of Environmental Protection.
Our lawyers handle air, water and solid waste permitting and compliance matters and manage civil and criminal environmental litigation disputes in State and Federal court and before the West Virginia Environmental Quality Board.
In our practice before the West Virginia Division of Environmental Protection, we manage NPDES and solid waste and surface mining permitting and underground storage tank issues. We counsel clients who consider their contaminated properties for brownfields status.
In Federal environmental matters, we defend RCRA and CERCLA claims involving Superfund and other sites contaminated with hazardous waste and Clean Air Act violations in asbestos removal and handling matters. And we represent clients in administrative civil penalty proceedings before the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, including violations of the Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act.
