G. KURT DETTINGER practices in the firm's transactional and litigation departments. Mr. Dettinger, a native of Charleston, West Virginia, was admitted to practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia in 2003, and is also a certified public accountant.

Mr. Dettinger completed his undergraduate studies at Marshall University in 1996, earning a B.B.A. in Accounting with a minor in Finance. Upon graduation, Mr. Dettinger entered the banking industry and worked as a commercial banker prior to enrolling in the West Virginia University College of Law in 2000. While in law school, Mr. Dettinger served as the Associate Editor and Issue One Editor of The West Virginia Law Review and served as Contributing Author of "Survey of Developments in the Law of West Virginia,"
